A Little More about Nora

Rick Ropelewski |

I am so excited to have joined the Rope Team at the beginning of this month! In case you haven’t had the chance to read my bio on the website, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Nora and I graduated from Bentley University in 2013. After an interesting career in marketing for 8 years, I decided to pursue my dream of working in finance. It is truly my passion and I still can’t believe I get to do this for a living!

To get to know me a little better, here’s a few personal facts about me. I live in Quincy, MA with my husband, Cody, step-daughter, Ana, and 2 rescue dogs. Ele is a Hound Mix and 4 years old. Luna is a Great Pyrenees mix and just turned 1. I bought the house next to my Mom’s, which makes for an easy commute home for the holidays. Both my parents are from Galway, Ireland and we regularly go back to see family.

I have a strong sense of adventure – I spent my first wedding anniversary hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. I’ve also ridden a bicycle from Baltimore to San Diego as a fundraising effort for young adults with cancer. I like to plan vacations around races and enjoy running marathons. I love learning new languages and can get by in French, Spanish, and Irish. I am looking forward to travelling again and getting to use those languages with native speakers.
