Is It Summer Yet?

After the first warm day, I get a little over excited for the warmer weather. For anyone that knows me, I hate the cold. I don’t ski or snowboard, and I hate shoveling (who doesn’t?). With that being said, I tend to forget that we live in New England. One warm day, and my coats and vests go into storage. I am all but packing for the beach.

Since then, there have been some cold days making me take that vest out again, but there have been so many wonderful warm days. I’ve been able to walk Central Square, workout outside, go on significantly less miserable walks, and drive with the windows down. Does anyone else listen to a lot more country music when the weather is warm?

Warm Julia is a different person than cold Julia. Warm weather brings me happiness, motivation, and sense of relief. I am looking forward to being able to work outside – something that only Covid made me realize was an option. Soon I will be getting sun burns while sending you all emails, and I wouldn’t want anything else.
