With the goal of making life easier for our clients and improving our processes we are implementing an electronic format for signing some documents; DocuSign E-signature gives us and you the capability to sign documents on either your computer or mobile device without requiring access to a printer. Utilizing e-signature will increase efficiency, help the environment, and decrease the amount of time it takes to process paperwork. Although most forms are available for E-signature, some will still need a written signature (such as a transfer form, if required by the other firm).
Once we fill out the paperwork, you will receive an email informing youthat there are documents ready for E-signature. You will then be prompted by DocuSign to confirm your identity. Once you have confirmed your identity, you will be able to sign the documents. After completing the documents, you will have the option to save or print them for your reference, although this is not necessary because we always have a copy as well. If for some reason you forget to download the form and you would like a copy, you can request it from us.
Although this is an option for completing paperwork, you can continue to sign paper forms.
