First Pat’s Game Experience
By: Nora Daniels | Financial Planner Assistant
My sister and I love going to sports games together, with the most memorable being the day we were at the Sox game and Johnny Pesky’s number was retired. Until recently, the only Boston sports team we hadn’t been to together was the Patriots. She had never been to a game before but she never misses watching them, as well as every other football game on Sunday.
This year for her birthday I got her tickets to go to her first Patriots game. Now, we all know how they did in their first two home games (so let’s not talk about the score!) but despite losing we had an absolute blast and will certainly remember this day for the rest of our lives. We’re also very grateful for the fantastic weather we had – I can’t imagine sitting in the freezing cold for a whole game.
I personally love to gift experiences as those end up being something we can remember for years to come: it’s really a gift that keeps on giving every time you remember it. I’d love to hear from you what your most memorable gift given or received was – it’s like I’ll get a gift sharing in your excitement!
